TYPES OF PLANS:​​

Based on how you answer essential questions on your overall Dental Health I typically recommend the following:


  • HUMANA

The least expensive, depends a lot on discounts, does reimburse well on Cleanings and Basic Services.  Major depends on a discount.   Rates are in the low $20's range.


  • BCBST


A Very comprehensive option, with certain waiting periods for various procedures.  A great plan, particularly if the Dentist is in Network and you get all of the PPO Discounts.  Upper $ 20's


  • MEDICO

NO CONTRACTUAL PPO NETWORKS:  What does that mean:  Go anywhere, as long as Dentist files Insurance Claims. That's Huge.   Dentists love it, so will you!

   I will often offer this product because you can add an additional $1,000 in Annual benefits for a small extra premium product pays IN ADDITION TO ANY OTHER PLAN YOU MAY HAVE INCLUDING MEDICARE ADVANTAGE. I always answer that there is not a one size fits all.   I usually ask questions like:

  • Are cleanings the most important?
